SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been widespread in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Southern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah and Kayin States, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region, Northern Shan, Chin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Kachin State and isolated heavyfalls in Bago Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.74) inches in Bhamo, (3.47) inches in Myitkyina, (3.02) inches in Bago, (2.17) inches Kawkareik, (1.85) inches in Hkamti, (1.62) inches in Yangon(Kaba-Aye), (1.57) inches in Mogaung, (1.34) inches in Khayan, (1.28) inches in Paing Kyone, (1.18) inches in Muse, (1.14) inches in Seiktha and (1.06) inches in Belin.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th June, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
