BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 18th June, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing and  Mandalay Regions, fairly widespread in Magway Region and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine and Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Chin and Kayin States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-12) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate to strong monsoon.
