BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Central Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th June, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and Eastern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions and Mon State. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Rakhine States.
