SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Mon State, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Chin and Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Mandalay and  Bago Regions, Kachin, Eastern Shan, Kayah and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.83) inches in Shwekyin, (2.52) inches each in Zaung Tu and Kawthaung, (2.46) inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit, (2.40) inches in Kani, (2.28) inches in Maubin, (2.17) inches in Kyaukmae, (2.01) inches in Naypyitaw (Datkhinathiri), (1.97) inches in Madauk, (1.61) inches in Nyaunglaybin, (1.46) inches in Hmawbi, (1.30)inches in Labutta and (1.22) inches in Naungcho.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea, South and East central Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 06th June, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan(North and South), Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Sagaing Region, Kachin, Eastern Shan, Chin and Kayah States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along  Mon- Taninthayi Coasts and slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6 - 8) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon- Taninthayi Coasts and about (4 - 6) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of thundery activities in Central Myanmar areas.
