BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 23rd May, 2020: Weather is partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7 -10)feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and (5-7)feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay Bengal.
