BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the  Deep Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about (555) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Paradadip(Odisha-India), about (638) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Digha(india),  about (695) Nautical miles Southwest of Khepupara (Bangladesh), about (458) Nautical miles Southwest of Coco-Island and about (603) Nautical miles Southwest of Pathein (Myanmar). Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 17th May, 2020: Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, (Southern and Eastern)Shan State. Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7-10) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
