BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal during next (12)hrs and as a Cyclonic Storm on (16.5.2020) night. It is very likely to move Northwest wards initially and then recurve North-Northeast wards towards North Bay of Bengal after (17.5.2020). Weather is cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 16th May, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.
