BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th May, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Southern Shan State, scattered in Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Eastern Shan and Kayah States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Magway and Bago Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 12th May, 2020:    Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (60%).
