SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region, Eastern Shan and Kayah States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) above May average temperatures in Northern Shan and Kayin States, (3°C) to (4°C) above May average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan, Kayah and Mon States and (2°C) above May average temperatures in Eastern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States. The significant day temperatures were (46°C) in Chauk, (44°C)each in Myinmu, Minbu, Magway and Sinbyugyun and (43°C)each in Myingyan, Nyaung Oo, Aunglan, Pakokku, Taungdwingyi, Pauk and Taunggu. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.31) inch in Pyinmana(Walgyi), (0.12) inch in Minesat, (0.08) inch in Kawthaung and (0.04) inch in Loikaw. 

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th May, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in (Southern and Eastern) Shan and Kayah States, isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
