SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Rakhine state. Rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Eastern Shan, Chin and Kayah States and widespread in Mandalay Region, Shan( North and South) State and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region. Day temperatures were (3°C) above May average temperature in Kachin State and (2°C) above May average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Mon State, (2°C) below May average temperatures in Sagaing Region, Southern Shan and Kayah States and (5°C) below May average temperature in Chin State and about May average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk and (40°C) each in Magway, Aunglan, Sinbyugyun and Theinzayet. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.60) inches in Varr, (2.44) inches in Thaton, (2.32) inches in Namsam, (1.89) inches in Ramthalo, (1.60) inches each  in Falam and Singaing(Agro), (1.49) inches in Khayan, (1.40) inches in Shwegwin, (1.10) inches in Bhamo, (1.06) inches in Loilin and (1.02) inches in Sagaing.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal remain stationary in current condintion. Weather is a few cloud over Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 04th May, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States.
