SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers has been widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Shan, Kayah and Mon States and fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions and scattered in the remaining Regions and States and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay and Magway Regions. Day temperatures were (2°C) below April average temperatures in Kayin and Mon States, (3°C) to (4°C) below April average temperatures in Napypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Southern Shan and Kayah States, (5°C) to (6°C) below April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan (North and East) State and  (7°C) below April average temperatures in Kachin and Chin States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures was (38°C) in Okkan. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.40) inches in Pinlaebu, (2.08) inches Yamethin, (1.97) inches in Hpa Saung, (1.77) inches in Phaung  Pyin, (1.72) inches in Phyu, (1.69) inches in Labutta, (1.57) inches each in Namsam and Thayat, (1.54) inches in Loikaw, (1.38) inches in Homalin, (1.25) inches in Aunglan and (1.14) inches in Myeik.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 01st May, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Shan and Kayah States and fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
