SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers has been widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah and Mon States, fairly widespread in Magway, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin State and scattered in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above April average temperature in Kayin State and (2°C) above April average temperature in Mon State, (8°C) below April average temperature in Chin State, (5°C) below April average temperatures in Mandalay and Magway Regions, (3°C) to (4°C) below April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing Region, Shan and Kayah States and (2°C) below April average temperature in Kachin State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) in Kawkareik and (40°C) each in Taunggu and Hlaingbwe. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.32) inches in Mudon, (1.97) inches each in Mogoke and Myeik, (1.69) inches each in Matupi and Ramthlo, (1.33) inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit, (1.30) inches in Pinlaebu, (1.18) inches in Pinlaung, (1.10) inches in Kya-In-Seikkyi, (1.06) inches in Chaungsone, (0.98) inch in Kyeikkhame and (0.94) inch in Kyeikmayaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th April, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Kachin and Shan (North and East) states, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Southern Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
