SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers has been widespread in Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Shan( South and East), Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, Mon State, scattered in Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan and Kayin States and isolated in Naypyitaw and Yangon Region and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region. Day temperatures were (3°C) above April average temperature in Mon State, (2°C) above April average temperatures in Yangon Region and Kayin States and (2°C) below April average temperature in Lower Sagaing Region, (3°C) to (4°C) below April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, (6°C) below April average temperature in Chin State and (7°C) below April average temperatures in Mandalay Region and Eastern Shan State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) in Myawaddy and (40°C)each in Naypyitaw (Yezin), Bago, Tharrawady, Nyaunglaybin, Yangon(Kaba-Aye), Bawlakhae, Kawkareik, Mawlamyine and Theinzayet. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.40) inches in Mudon, (1.90) inches in Kyaukpadaung(Agro), (1.57) inches in Maungdaw, (1.34) inches in Manaung, (1.26) inches in Pyawbwe(Agro), (1.25) inches in Thazi(Agro), (1.21) inches in Saw, (1.10) inches in Minesat, (1.02) inches each in Mindat and Bago, (0.94) inch in Yay, (0.83) inch in Meiktila and (0.79) inch each in Myinmu and Kyeikkhame.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th April, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Shan, Chin and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State and scattered in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
