SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers has been scattered in Eastern Shan State and isolated in Southern Shan State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above April average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State and (2°C) above April average temperature in Ayeyarwady Region, Kayin and Mon States and (3°C) below April average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (43°C) in Chauk, (42°C) in Bawlakhae and (41°C) each in Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Sinbyugyun and Taunggu. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.04) inch each in Kengtung and Minesat.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th April, 2020: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
