SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers has been widespread in Eastern Shan State, fairly widespred in Kachin State, scattered  in Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State, isolated in Magway  Region and Southern Shan State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C)above April average temperatures in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States and (2°C) above April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago and Yangon Regions, Kachin and Kayah States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (45°C) in Chauk and (42°C) each in Monywa, Aunglan, Taunggu, Bawlakhae and Myawaddy. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.39) inch each in Mogaung and Katha, (0.28) inch in Kyemone, (0.16) inch in Kengtung and (0.12) inch each in Bhamo, Kunlong, Pinlaebu and Pang Kham.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th April, 2020: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Taninthayi Region, Kachin and (Northern and Eastern)Shan States and isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Southern Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
