SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers has been scattered  in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, isolated in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Shan and Kayah States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above April average temperatures in Taninthayi Region, Kachin, Kayin and Mon States and (2°C) above April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayah State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) in Chauk, (42°C) each in Magway, Aunglan, Bawlakhae and Myawaddy and (41°C) each in Minbu, Taungdwingyi, Sinbyugyun, Taunggu, Ngathaichaung, Hpa-an, Kawkareik and Hlaingbwe. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.08) inch each in Tiddim and Tamu and (0.04) inch each in Mindat and Kanbalu.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th April, 2020: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Upper Sagaing Regions, Kachin and Shan States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Chin and Kayah States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of  isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
