SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing  Region and (2°C) above April average temperatures in Lower  Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Eastern Shan State and about April average temperatures  in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) in Chauk, (42°C) in Monywa and (41°C)each in Myinmu, Myingyan, Tatkon, Minbu, Magway, Pauk, Sinbyugyun and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.08)inch in Putao and (0.04)inch each in Machanbaw and Tamu.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the  Andaman Sea and partly cloudy over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 9th April, 2020: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States.
