SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above March average temperature in Kachin State, (2°C) below March average temperature in Chin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (39°C) in Bawlakhae, (38°C) each in Shwekyin, Nyaunglaybin, Hpa-an, Hlaingbwe and Theinzayet.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 2nd March, 2020: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Chin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States.
