SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, Weather has been partly cloudy to cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (6°C) below February average temperature in Chin State, (3°C) to (4°C) below February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan and Kayah States, (2°C) below February average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region, Southern Shan, Kayin and Mon States and (4°C) above February average temperature in Yangon Region and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and State. The significant night temperatures were (-5°C) in Hakha, (-1°C) in Namsam, (0°C) in Heho, (1°C) each in Ramthlo and Mogoke, (2°C) in Loilin and (3°C) each in Thipaw, Kyaukmae, Tiddim and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and East Central Bay and a few cloudy to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 5th February, 2020: Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Decrease of night temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Northern Shan and Chin States.
