SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been generally fair in Southern Shan and Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (5°C) below January average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (3°C) below January average temperatures in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States and (2°C) below January average temperature in Ayeyarwady Region and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Heho, (3°C) each in Namsam and Hakha, (4°C) each in Kyaukmae, Kengtung, Mongyang and Mogoke and (5°C) each in Pinlaung, Loilin and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the West Central Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 31st January, 2020: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Shan (North and East), Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Kachin State.
