SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (5°C) to (6°C) below January average temperatures in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Chin and Kayin State, (3°C) to (4°C) below January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Yangon Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah and Mon States and (2°C) below January average temperatures in Lower Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions. The significant night temperatures were (-2°C) in Hakha, (1°C) each in Namsam and Mongyang, (0°C) in Mogoke, (1°C) each in Pinlaung, Heho and Loilin and (2°C)each in Putao, Thipaw, Lashio, Kyaukmae, Ramthlo and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th January, 2020: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast and about (4-6) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of decrease of night temperatures in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan and Chin States.
