SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, light rain has been isolated in Kachin and Northern Shan States. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below January average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan State, (2°C) below January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin State and (2°C) above January average temperature in Magway Region and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-1°C) in Hakha, (1°C) in Ramthlo, (2°C) each in Putao, Namsam and Tiddim, (3°C) in Mongyang, (4°C)each in Heho, Falam, Mingin and Pyinoolwin and (5°C) in Pinlaung.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th January, 2020: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast and about (4-6) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Generally fair weather in the whole country.
