SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing, Magway, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were about January average temperatures in the whole country. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (3°C) each in Pinlaung and Heho, (4°C) each in Namsam and Mongyang and (5°C) each in Putao, Mindat, Tiddim, Ramthlo and Mogoke.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th January, 2020: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weather is generally fair in the whole country.
