SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain have been scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and isolated in Chin State and weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region, Southern Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above January average temperatures in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Northern Shan, Chin and Kayin States and (3°C) above January average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region and (5°C) above January average temperature in Kachin State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) each in Pinlaung and Hakha, (5°C) each in Namsam and Heho, (6°C) each in Loilin, Mongyang and Mogoke and (7°C) each in Mindat and Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Tiddim and Tongzan (0.04)inch each.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th January, 2020: Light rain will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast and about (3-5) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Generally fair in the whole country.
