SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above January average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region, (Southern and Eastern)Shan and Mon States and (3°C) above January average temperatures in Northern Shan and  Kayin States and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (4°C) each in Putao, Pinlaung, Mindat, Ramthlo and Mogoke, (6°C) each in Namsam, Tiddim and Pyinoolwin and (7°C) each in Monyin, Loilin, Falam and Mingin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 8th January, 2020: Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 – 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Generally fair in the whole country.
