BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 6th January, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Sagaing Region, Kachin and Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Chin State, scattered in Mandalay Region and isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway and Bago Region, (Southern and Eastern)Shan and Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (100%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 – 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan and Chin States.
