BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 3rd January, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region and Southern Shan State, scattered in Mandalay Region, Eastern Shan and Rakhine States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway and Taninthayi Regions. Degree of certainty is (100%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 – 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States.
