SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below December average temperature in Yangon Region, (2°C) below December average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region and Eastern Shan State, (2°C) above December average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Heho, (4°C) each in Pinlaung and Hakha, (5°C) each in Namsam and Mogoke, (6°C) each in Putao, Thipaw, Kyaukmae, Loilin, Kengtung, Mongyang and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th December, 2019: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 – 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Northern Rakhine States.
