SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing and Magway Regions, Kachin and Kayin States, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region and Southern Shan State, scattered in Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan State and  isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfall in Southern Shan State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Taunggyi (3.08)inches, Mongyang (1.89)inches, Gyobingauk (0.99) inch, Namsam (0.95)inch, Ramthlo (0.91)inch, Kengtung and Naypyitaw(Datkhinathiri) (0.87)inch each and Hinthada (0.78)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th October, 2019: Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region, Kachin and Kayin States, rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3–6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of continuation of isolated to scattered in rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region, Shan and Chin States.
