SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region, Eastern Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Chin State, scattered in Bago Region and Northern Shan State and  isolated in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Phyu (1.89)inches, Myeik (1.10)inches, Pyinoolwin (0.75)inch, Lashio (0.66)inch, Matupi and Ramthlo (0.63) inch each, Gwa (0.59)inch and Kawthaung (0.48)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloudy over the North Bay and East Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18th October, 2019: Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region,  Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3–6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of continuation of light rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region.
