SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, Eastern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago and Yangon Regions, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Southern Shan, Kayin and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfall in Yangon Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Yangon(Kaba-Aye) (4.41)inches, Central Yangon (4.33) inches, Kyeikdon (2.80)inches, Yangon(Mingaladon) (2.52)inches, Kawkareik (2.28)inches, Mogoke (2.17)inches, Payathonsu (1.93)inches, Putao (1.85)inches, Maungdaw (1.69)inches, Taunggu(Avia-Met) (1.42)inches and Zaung Tu (1.34)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea, North and Central Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th October, 2019: Weather will be partly cloudy in Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Bago and Yangon Regions, (Northern and Southern) Shan, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3–7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.
