SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Magway, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayah State, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin and Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Sagaing Regions, scattered in Southern Shan, Chin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Myitkyina (1.93)inches, Paung (1.46)inches, Katha (1.18)inches, Kyaukpyu (0.91)inch and Paletwa (0.83)inch.

 BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 2nd October, 2019: Weather will be partly cloudy in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions. Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin State, scattered in Southern Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfall in Lower Sagaing Region. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3–6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of continuation of rain or thundershowers in Upper Myanmar areas.
