SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Eastern Shan State, scattered in Magway Region and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Kyeikkhame (8.31)inches, Kya-In-Seikkyi (7.54)inches, Mudon (5.87)inches, Paing Kyone (5.26)inches, Thandwe and Taungkok (3.94)inches each, Thaton, Mawlamyine and Chaungsone (3.78)inches each, Kataingti (3.70) inches, Kyeikmayaw (3.66)inches, Kyeikdon (3.60)inches, Kyaukpyu (3.39)inches, Paung (3.31)inches, Hpa-an(Agro-Met) (3.07)inches, Maungdaw and Ann (3.03)inches each.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 08th September, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfall in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 –13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
