BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Tropical Storm "Wipha" over the Gulf of Tonkin is centered at about (190)miles East - Northeast of Hanoi (Vietnam). It was moving West  slowly and forecast to cross Upper Vietnam.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 02ndAugust, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in   Bago and Yangon  Regions. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:  Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 – 11) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Taninthayi Region, Shan, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.
