SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfall in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and Chin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Kyauktaw (8.11)inches, Myauk U (4.37) inches, Paletwa (3.35)inches, Kungyangon (2.87)inches, Ann (2.44)inches, Thandwe (2.32)inches, Paing Kyone (2.28) inches, Bago (2.21)inches, Mogaung, Gwa and Okkan (2.17)inches each, Mudon (1.97)inches, Kyeikdon (1.92)inches, Pinlaung (1.89)inches, Machanbaw and Hkamti (1.82)inches each, Mawlamyine (1.77)inches, Belin (1.73)inches, Matupi (1.69)inches and Laiway (1.65)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfall in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 – 8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
