BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and moderate over the  Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 10th July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region  and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfall in Kachin and Rakhine States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago and Yangon Regions, Chin, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:  Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Gulf of Motta, Deltaic , off and along Rakhine Coasts . Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-10)feet Gulf of Motta, Deltaic and off and along Rakhine Coasts and (6-8)feet off and along Mon -Tanintayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Rakhine States.
