SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Northern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Eastern Shan and Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine and Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kayin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Maungdaw (5.55) inches, Kyeikkhame (4.61)inches, Mudon (3.50)inches, Kyeikmayaw (3.43)inches, Kya-In –Seikkyi (3.30)inches, Kyauktaw and Sittwe (3.28)inches each, Dawei (3.19)inches, Yay (2.64)inches, Kyeikdon (2.56)inches, Ann (2.28) inches, Kyaukphyu (2.16)inches and Phyu (2.09)inches. 

BAY INFERENCE:. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (13:30)M.S.T today, the Tropical Storm "Mun" over the Gulf of Tonkin is centered at about (170)miles Southeast of Hanoi (Vietnam). It is continue to move West- Northwestwards and forecast to move Upper Vietnam, tonight.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 4th July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Shan and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6 -9)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Strong monsoon.
