SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Mudon (5.47)inches, Mawlamyine (4.41)inches, Sittwe and Chaungsone (4.06)inches each, Thaton (3.54)inches, Paung (3.50)inches, Labutta (3.46)inches, Yay (3.42)inches, Hainggyigyun (2.95)inches, Kyeikmayaw (2.83) inches and Paletwa (2.48)inches.

 BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th June, 2019:  Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region, Rakhine and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:  Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 -12)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
