SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Mandalay and Ayeyarwady Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were  Kyaukphyu(9.25)inches, Hkamti(4.34)inches, Taungkok (4.09)inches, Ann (3.38)inches, Thandwe (3.23)inches, Laiway (3.03)inches, Sittwe (2.95)inches, Paung and Dawei (2.64)inches each, Pyinmana (2.32)inches, Naypyitaw (Otarathiri) (2.24)inches, Manaung and Hlaingbwe (2.20)inches each,Homalin and Thayat (2.16)inches each.

BAY INFERENCE:Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th June, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Rakhine and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8 -10)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
