SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Kachin State, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Easthern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Magway Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Kyaukphyu (8.67)inches, Thandwe (7.79)inches, Manaung (3.50)inches, Gwa and Thaton  (2.87)inches each, Coco Island (2.84)inches, Pyay (2.68)inches, Paung (2.40)inches, Belin (2.05)inches, Ann and Taungkok (19.3)inches each, Taunggu (Avia-Met) (1.89)inches, Mindat (1.85)inches, Hpa-an, Myeik and Launglon  (1.73)inches each and Aunglan (1.66)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th June, 2019:  Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region, Kachin and Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Rakhine State and isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Mon State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 -12)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Rakhine coastal areas.
