SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Bago Region, Kachin and (Southern and Eastern)Shan States. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above April normal temperatures in Eastern Shan and Kayah States, (2°C) above April normal temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and about April normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (45°C) in Chauk, (43°C) in Pauk and (42°C) each in Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Gangaw and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Minesat (0.32)inch and Phyu (0.08)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd April, 2019: Light rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of light rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States.
