SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above March normal temperature in Kachin State, (2°C) above March normal temperatures in Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions, Southern Shan State and about March normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk and (40°C) each in Magway, Aunglan, Sinbyugyun, Taunggu and Bawlakhae.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 31st March, 2019: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States.
