BAY INFERENCE:Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloudover the Northwest Bay, Westcentral  Bay and Southwest Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 8th September 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway, Sagaing Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago Regions and Kayah, Chin, Rakhine, Northern Shan States, widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Mon State. Degree of certainty is 100%. 

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
