BAY INFERENCE:  According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Depression area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining (North Odisha-West Bengal) Coast (India) has moved North-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 275 Nautical miles Northwest of Sittwe (Myanmar), 80 Nautical miles East-Northeast of Chandbali and 80 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Canning, India. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID EVENING  MORNING OF THE 27th July 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scatterd in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Bago, Magway. Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago, Magway, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts. 

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States.
