BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal, moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Bay and westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 28th June 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Northern Shan States, scattered in (Southern and Easthern) Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bagp, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Mon, Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Southern) Shan State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
