BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rdJune 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah, Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Eastern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Mandalay, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Northern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 25 - 30 mph. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Saging Region and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States.
