BAY INFERENCE:  Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal and weather is a few cloud over the North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd May 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Kayah, Rakhine, (Nothern and Eastern)Shan States, fairly widespread in Bago, Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Chin, Southern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and Stateswith isolated heavyfalls in, Ayeyarwady Region and Southern Shan State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
