BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and North Bay of Bengal and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 8th March 2026: Fairly widespread rain or thundershowers are likely in Taninthayi Region, isolated rain or thundershowers are likely in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Eastern Shan States. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Kayah State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Eastern Shan States.
