SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region and Northern Shan State, scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions, islolated in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Chin State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 0.83 inch in Meiktila, 0.79 inch in Mawlamyinekyun, 0.67 inch in Ngathaichaung, 0.47 inch in Kyaukse, 0.43 inch each in Kyaukse(Lunkyaw), Pathein and Hainggyigyun, 0.28 inch in Tiddim and 0.24 inch each in Taungdwingyi and Muse.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th October 2025: Weather will be partly cloudy in Kachin, Kayah, (Northern and Southern)Shan States. Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Chin State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and Chin State.
