SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi  Region and Mon, Southern Shan States, fairly widespread  in Yangon, Bago Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region and Kayin, Chin States and isolated in Mandalay, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 2.95 inches in Paung Byin, 2.13 inches in Kalewa, 1.77 inches in Dawei, 1.57 inches in Ye, 1.50 inches in Pyay, 1.30 inches in Maubin, 1.14 inches in Hlegu, 1.10 inches each in Myeik and Myawaddy and 1.02 inches each in Yangon(Batahtaung) and Thaton.

BAYINFERENCE:  Weather is a few cloud over the Northeast Bay and partly cloudy over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th October 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon, Southern Shan States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Magway Regions and Chin State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Mon, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
